$55,000-$65,000 Base Salary + Sales Commission Pay

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field
• ServSafe certified
• 3+ years of experience in management
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Experience in high volume restaurant/bar
• 1+ year of experience in Sales
• Based in Columbus, Ohio
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving skills and delegating skills.
• Experience managing and adhering to budgets, sales goals, purchasing guidelines, and HR processes.
• Availability to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

ROLE

As the General Bar Manager of Makers Social, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day business operations, upholding our company’s culture, boosting & improving every aspect of the business as a whole, creating exceptional customer experiences, and working alongside the rest of the team to grow the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing our team of ~20 part time employees.
• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks including but not limited to: scheduling, payroll, HR functions, event coordination, employee training and feedback, purchasing, and expensing.
• Managing marketing team and advertising plans.
• Managing company budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Managing regular maintenance activities (i.e. filters, pest control, basic cleaning, etc).
• Carrying out direct sales tactics, social networking, and representing the company successfully based on our shared values.
• Coordinates, plans, and executes special events; may include special feature nights, collaborations with other businesses, fundraisers, and inviting local artists or musicians to share our space.
• Responds to customer inquiries via telephone & email including: helping to make reservations, planning private events, answering basic questions, and coordinating special occasions, surprises, engagements, etc.

RESULTS

• Execute events & regular shifts which consistently receive positive customer feedback and return customers on a regular basis.
• Provide great work experiences for all employees by upholding an exceptional company culture which promotes teamwork, honesty, integrity, and the Makers Social values we instill.
• Exceed all quarterly sales goals, product goals, and plans for improvement.
